FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are some of the questions that we are asked about our studio and
here are our answers!
Do I need prior experience to start Taekwondo?
Nope! Many of our students experience martial arts for the first time through Taekwondo and do just fine. Taekwondo is a great way to start your martial arts journey!
Why do I need private lessons?
Private lessons allow the student to engage in a 1-on-1 instruction with master or one of our instructors while having all of the attention on them. This allows us to correct minor details, teach them everything they need to know for their specific level, and make it as entertaining as possible for them.
Why do I need semi-private lessons?
Semi-private lessons allows students to engage in a small group with other students that are around similar belt level with them. We also focus on details and what they need to learn for their level along with giving them attention on helping them become a better version of themselves.
Can I still practice Taekwondo if I'm disabled?
What is the youngest age my child can start Taekwondo?
Am I too old for Taekwondo?
Absolutely! Many people with all kinds of disabilities have enjoyed the benefits of Taekwondo, including greater confidence, coordination, strength, and initiative. Our instructors do our best to accomodate you and find ways to overcome students' disabilities.
We have students as young as 4 or 5 but it ultimately depends on your child's maturity and ability to follow directions. If you would like your child to begin Taekwondo, just bring them in for a free trial class!
Absolutely not! Notably, there are Taekwondo practitioners in their 80s and 90s. We have many adult students and they often surprise themselves with how capable they really are!
